What are the fees?

​​

Consultation, Assessment & Therapy Appointments - from £145

 

Clinical Supervision - £100 - £125 per hour depending on requirements. Please get in touch for more information.

Payment can be made with cash, cheque or  via BACS transfer. Sessions can also be purchased in blocks of 4 or 6.. Payment is required 48 hours before the session to be attended. Non-attendance will be charged at full fee.

Dr Hayes  can offer online therapy for those covered by private health insurance providers AXA, AVIVA, BUPA and WPA. Please enquire regarding availability, as slots are limited.

Dr Hayes provides a small number of lower fee scheme slots to frontline public sector workers and those experiencing significant financial hardship.

How long are the sessions and how many will I need?

 

Therapy sessions are usually held at the same time, usually on a weekly basis, and last 50 minutes.

​

An initial  assessment usually takes place over two sessions, and this will be an opportunity to think with Dr Hayes about your current difficulties, some background context, what you feel you need help with and the possible focus of therapy.

​

The length of therapy is not an exact science, some people find 6 sessions to be enough, for others there is a need for longer-term work, for some open-ended work fits best. During the assessment phase of the work the possible length of therapy will be discussed and will take into account the individual's own requirements.

​

 

What if I have to cancel a session?

 

Regrettably charges apply for all cancellations with less than 48 hours notice or if you do not attend an appointment.
